SLUG Contest

It’s super easy… just tell us your funniest or most horrifying job interview or unemployment story.

Feel like your best writing efforts have been WASTED on brilliant cover letters and countless versions of your resume that you're sure is getting deleted from some useless administrative assistant's inbox?  Well, here at It's a SLUG's Life, we promise we are interested in what you have to say and will never click the delete button when we receive your email just because there's a typoo.  Your submission will never be judged on your lack of action verbs usage!  So finally, here's your chance to write something that will actually be read and appreciated, and that can possibly win you a cool SLUG PRIZE!!! 

At It's a SLUGs Life, we want to HEAR ABOUT YOUR SLUG STORIES.  

So, do something at least slightly productive today and submit your SLUG horror and/or funny story about a bad interview experience!!!

You have until  February 29th, 2012 to submit your stories.

Winners will be announced on March 1st, 2012.

 

There will be one funniest story winner and one horror story winner.  You can submit as many stories as you'd like, but the same story can only be submitted once, so if you want to submit a story to both funny and horror categories, they cannot be the same story. 

Here are a few doozies to give you an idea... like the one where you wore your nice white shirt for your interview, but made the mistake of eating spaghetti with tomato sauce prior to the interview?  Or, the one where you had on the perfect pair of pantyhose, then as you stepped into the office for the interview, your stockings caught the edge of the door and your pantyhose gets a run like a rabid cat just clawed you from your hip down to your ankles.
